AMP Robotics Selected as The Circulars 2018 Tech Disruptor Finalist

We are thrilled to announce AMP Robotics has been selected as a Finalist in The Ecolab Award for Circular Economy Tech Disruptor.

The Circulars, an initiative of the World Economic Forum and the Forum of Young Global Leaders, is the world’s premier circular economy award program. The awards are open to individuals and organizations from commerce and civil society in seven distinct categories and are designed to recognize and celebrate, on a prestigious global stage, all facets of the circular economy movement. Now in its fourth year, The Circulars event will be held at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos on 22nd January 2018.

AMP Robotics was formed with the goal of bringing artificial intelligence and robotics to the recycling industry to fundamentally change the costs of recycling. We have successfully developed a new kind of sorting technology for recycling facilities: the Cortex robot. It is capable of automating the separation of commodities with practically no retrofit or change to existing operations. Cortex robots are powered by Neuron, the artificial intelligence that perceives material in the dirty, commingled conditions found in facilities today. Cortex is designed to operate in single stream, C&D, and e-waste facilities.

We are excited to be recognized by The Circulars as a Finalist in the Ecolab Award for Circular Economy Tech Disruptor. The other finalists are prestigious companies and it is an honor to be considered among them for this award.
